G-enerate Compost: Lincoln Middle School is not currently composting their food waste.

R-educe, R-ecycle, R-euse: Recycling is practiced in every classroom on the Lincoln campus. Head Custodian, Steve Ruggaber, reported that in the past 3 weeks students prevented over 1800 lbs of paper and 97 lbs of metal from going to a landfill, by recycling! Students in special education classes participate in the recycling collection and quantification process at
Lincoln Middle School.  Recycling advisories are posted in the hallways throughout the school.

E-ducate: Flyers line the hallways and classrooms reminding students, faculty, staff and parents to use their blue bins and recycle.

E-valuate the impact of everyday activities: By recycling students learn to honor the importance of conservation on campus and at home.

N-ationalize the principles of responsible paper consumption: Paper conservation is also a big theme among teachers and administrators.  Many members of the faculty save one-side-clean paper for re-use.

Keep Up the Good Work!
