Capital Improvements Provide Easier and Safer Access

March 9, 2005 Mark Naef, CEO of Naef Recycling just announced completion of their January - February capital improvement plans to make their recycling plant safer for the  trucks which deliver 180  tons of recycling material every day.

Cross beams in the ceiling were moved to minimize the possibility of vehicles  hitting the ceiling in the process of unloading recycling material and new structural bracing added..

"This will make it easier for drivers to deliver material and provide a safer environment" said, Mark Naef CEO of Naef Recycling.

The building which houses Naef Recycling is the former Harsco building previously owned by Speno Rails which used it to repair railroad trains.  The 45,000 sq ft. building was empty prior to Naef Recycling moving  there in August 2002.  Naef Recycling currently employees 25 full time workers .

Additional  improvements are planned for the next few months, including the installation of a new infeed conveyor for the container line  and an updated automatic tier for their baler.  These improvements  will decrease down time for the container line and enable them to  process more material quicker.
