Promoting Recycling Awareness
Friday, July 15 - America Recycles Day is
months away but Naef Recycling is conducting tours as usual. Year Round Friday, July 15 at 8:00 am, Anne Mackenzie (637-1141) who is writing a children's book on recycling will tour Naef Recycling, a dual stream, source separated recycling facility which recycles paper, plastic, glass bottles and metal cans for Onondaga, Oswego, Schoharie and Delaware County. At 10:00 am on Friday, fifty to sixty kids from the town of Parish recreation department will tour the plant. tour. (Cali Bryant, Dept. Of Rec. 380-1069) Naef Recycling offers tours twelve months of the year to promote public awareness about recycling and good environmental stewardship.
